This program builds resiliency, community connections, parenting skills, and provides concrete support for parents through peer support, education, and community resource navigation. Over 8 weeks, small groups of parent-child dyads chat together via text, during video calls, and in person with a facilitator for up to 2 hours of weekly peer support and education. As an evidence informed curriculum, PEPS fulfils the community need for facilitated parent-child playgroups for parents with infants that are accessible.
