Teaching Assistant

“Thank you very much for the opportunities you have given me. During these years, I have grown significantly as a professional, I have taken classes and taken the CDA despite having a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, marketing and finance. I have improved my skills and taken on many new responsibilities.”

Site Administrator

“The increase in the teachers' pay was long overdue. We have teachers that have been employed with the center for over 10 and 20 years. It was great seeing them received the increases.”

From a current ThreeSchool provider:

    • “To know that we are the foundation and to know that we are giving something to a child that they would’ve never received if they had not been in the Wake Three program. To know that there is this program that can be funded and these kids can go to school and get those social skills and be a part of a really good program. We just knew we were going to apply and are very thankful we were accepted as a school to have the program and to continue to be the foundation for these kids. The world, they need this; the kids really do need this.”- Coprecia Robinson, Director of The Happy Face Preschool

From a current ThreeSchool provider:

“They [the children] go into their centers, and the teacher has a structured activity that is fun. They don’t realize they are learning because they’re playing. When they go into those centers, the things..that will really blow your mind are … how they interact with each other. To hear the language, to see the sharing, to see how they’re building in blocks together- those things are so amazing. This is truly preparing them for NC Pre-K…and for going into public school. It is a truly a great head start for them.” – Coprecia Robinson, Director of The Happy Face PreSchool

Sabrena Robinson

“WTS has been what I call "chef's kiss". Each and every team member is knowledgeable about not only their role, but the program itself. They are very approachable and transparent about their processes and how they can be of assistance to both Administrators and Teachers. As they develop the program, I feel like we are partners in this and that the students will ultimately benefit from how they are leading the way. I truly can't say enough great things about them!”

Director of The Happy Face Preschool

Sabrena Robinson

“My favorite part has been being a part of the program during it's pilot year. Having the ability to share my experiences as an NC PreK Administrator and help shape this program, has been wonderful. The WTS staff truly values our input and it fosters the ability to create a solid bridge between our school team and staff and the staff at WTS.”

Sabrena Robinson

“The most important piece of information for prospective WTS sites to know is that your teachers will make all the difference. Having a solid teacher team who understands and are effective in handling the developmental milestones of three year olds is key.”

Netaya Strothers

“All in all, this program has been fun and full of different learning experiences that have proven to be a challenge, but the growing pains have only made me stronger and a more impactful teacher!”
